Miami’s own Flo Rida, who’s tearing up the charts with his international smash, "Club Can’t Handle Me," was VH1's "Jump Start Live" very first guest. He was cool enough to swing by after his interview to give VH1 his thoughts on the Miami Heat’s chances this year, what it was like seeing Tom Cruise dance to "Low" in Tropic Thunder, and if Ke$ha — who got her big break singing alongside him on "Right Round" — has ever thanked him for launching her into the spotlight. To find out the answers to these questions and a few more, be sure and check out the video above!

Have you ever thought to yourself, "OMG, what happens if we run out of Flo Rida songs? How will we have fun again?" Not gonna happen, homeys. MTV's Buzzworthy recently sat down with the party song king himself to discuss his new album, Only One Flo (Part 1), traveling the world, and hip-hop video mishaps.
Flo Rida talks about the inspiration behind Only One Flo (Part 1), and it's not world peace like you might have suspected. "I definitely want my fans to know that I'm here to stay, and I'm going to continue to give them hot music." We love that Flo (he lets me call him that) knows what his fans want--100 percent pure booty droppin'--and isn't afraid to give it to them.
While he's not busy making club jams, Flo Rida is playing international hot spots like Dubai and sitting through grueling casting calls for hot video babes. So what's the downfall of Flo's life? Well, nothing really, but during the shoot for "Who Dat Girl," a couple ladies showed up to the set without an invite. Tough life.

Mike Ragogna: When you were making your latest album Only One Flo (Part 1), did you feel like you had a blockbuster with all these hits on it?
Flo Rida: Definitely. Going into the studio, if the vibe is right, the song gives me goosebumps. A lot of times, I get reactions from colleagues that are with me and they always tell me if I've done good or not, they give me their real opinions. I got a chance to perform the record at shows and just from the crowd reaction, I knew the record was going to be a big one.
MR: So far, you have like three hits on this project, and it looks like there's more to come, right?
FR: Yeah, most definitely. It's in two parts and part 2 will be out in the Spring. So, I hope fans are looking forward to that.
MR: Very cool. I wanted to go through a few more songs on Only One Flo (Part 1). You have "Club Can't Handle Me," "Turn Around (5,4,3,2,1)," and there's "Who Dat Girl" featuring Akon. When you're in the studio, what's the experience like?
FR: For the most part, it's real spontaneous. I find myself recording in hotel rooms because I'm on the road, busy traveling, I just come up with these ideas. That's an experience you can never usually get being in places like London, Russia, Germany, and Belgium. I'm always inspired by the places that I'm at, going to clubs around the world and everything.Filed under:
